Environmental Policy
With a growing concern for our environment SEAC air conditioning recognise that we have legal and moral responsibilities in regards to protecting our environment. We are committed to adopting an environmentally responsible approach to all our business activities.
It is our policy to:
- Comply with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and industry codes of practice.
- Take all practicable steps to prevent pollution arising from our activities
- Conserve resources by the efficient use of energy and materials
- Train our employees and contractors to improve awareness and knowledge of their environmental obligations
- Ensure that the waste that is generated is recycled whenever practicable;(use of registered waste disposal companies (general waste, recyclables (paper / metal)
- Set targets and review results on a regular basis with the aim of continual improvement of our environmental performance
- Ensure that all hazardous and environmentally sensitive materials are effectively contained;(refrigerant)
- Dispose of residual waste materials in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner;
- Use and recommend energy efficient heating and cooling equipment as well as inverter technology
- Manage our operations systematically to eliminate or minimize our environmental impacts
- Assign sufficient resources to enable us to achieve our environmental objectives
- Minimise the creation of waste materials
